Q. Just what is a banner exchange anyway?
A. Ok. First if all you have to have a banner. It has to be 468 x 60 pixels in dimensions, and maximum 12k in size. Then you have to put some code that we will e-mail you, on your site. This will allow your banner to be shown on other members' sites while their banners are being shown on yours.
Q. Can you show me some examples?
A. Sure. Here are some examples of other members' banners.
Q. Can I use an animated banner?
A. Yes, you can use an animated banner if you wish, but please keep it under 12K.
Q. I want to join the banner exchange but I have no way to create my own banner?
A. I suggest that a good place to visit would be addesigner.com. They have some free resources that can help you create your banner.
Q. What does a 2/1 exchange ratio mean?
A. A 2/1 ratio means that your banner gets shown on other member sites once for every 2 times you show other member's banners.
Q. I would like my banner to be shown more often.
A. You can purchase additional impressions from our Special Packages page. Your ad will be shown much more often, resulting in a much more effective promotion.
Q. Where should I put the banner exchange on my page?
A. I encourage you to put the banner exchange at the top of your pages to give it reasonable exposure. As most others do the same, this results in your banner also getting good exposure.
Q. Can I put the banner exchange on more than one page?
A. You can put the banner exchange on as many different pages as you like. The unique Javascript code will ensure that you get the proper credits for all exposures.
Q. I have added the code you emailed me to my page, but when I go into it, I get a javascript error message. Can you help?.
A.The most likely problem is that your email program is putting carriage returns, or line breaks in the text. With regular HTML code, this is no problem, but because this is javascript code, it won't work if it is not exactly right. The best solution is to make sure that your email program does not wrap the text, but displays it just as it was sent. Then you just cut and paste.
Q. What can I do if my code is being altered by a web-editing program?
